It's a great practice - modern facilities and experienced dental team. My dentist Amita is so wonderful! I used to have an issue with long waiting times but that has since been improved, so I've updated my review to 5 stars.
As noted by many, a modern clean environment.
Booked an appointment at this practice months in advance for a check up & they rang me the day before to cancel. Advised me that they couldnt fit me in for at least another month. I then rang 111 to find an alternative NHS dentist. 111 gave me my original appointment that the practice had cancelled! The exact same time on the exact same day! Safe to say I will be finding another dentist
Just doing my review from the waiting room, since at the time of posting, the dentist is running 80 minutes late. Normally I dont mind waiting for the dentist since if I was in need of some treatment that was complicated I certainly wouldnt want that treatment rushing. The problem I have is that nobody told me upon arrival just how far behind they were running (I would have re-booked), and as yet nobody has apologised for the delay or even given me (and the other people in the waiting room I might add) an estimate as to when Ill be seen (only when people complain do they update us). On the plus side, the chairs in the waiting room are comfortable and the radio station has played some decent tunes.
Dentist Gill is good but the member of staff on reception that rang to say Gill's got car problems so can't do mine and my daughters appointment today and when I asked if I could have my son's appointment at 5pm the following week I was told that was not available as The Mount had double booked the slot. The dentist only work Monday - Friday up to 5pm and not open Saturday's so you need to book a holiday off work to get in to see the dentist is what I have just been told, this member of staff need to get on customer service training. Silly. I need to move dentist to a good one that caters for the workers who can't get there at 5pm. Also I tried to take
