School is rubbish more bothered about getting students in cons than lessons
I can understand kids who live in hemsworth if they are late in a morning getting a detention as they are in the same village but for people who have to drive in like i do from south hiendley its an absolute nightmare trying to get down barnsley road and then up to school .doesnt matter how early i set off there is always loads of traffic backed uo .maybe some thought should be applied that under those circumstances if a kid travelling in is just a couple of minutes late due to traffic no detention should be given its a joke that my daughter has yet another detention due to backed up crosshills

I get bullied there everyday by george palmer and no teacher helps me
The high school is a decent place to learn as long as the students have the right teacher, some teachers expect students to keep up when they cant, and most are not taught or trained to deal with students who have autism/ADHD etc. The sixth form is abismal at best teachers back stab their own students to make their classes seem better preforming and the head of the sixth at the time had no idea what she was doing or had any sympathy for students who had issues at home, with the work or with mental disabilities/disadvantages (this is the same teacher who didn't bother making sure the students in the class room where up to speed with everyone else) this is my own opinion of when I was there from 2011-2017 6 years of high school, 1 year of sixth form. From what I've heard after I left from my former maths teacher the school has worsened since out wood have taken over.
